Seat Sixteen (“Seat Sixteen,” “we”) runs secret dinners in Portland, Oregon. This policy explains what we collect through seatsixteen.com and how we use it.
What we collect
- What you give us when you join the list: your name, email, mobile number and how you heard about us. When you accept an invite, any dietary notes you add for that dinner.
- Whether you agreed to receive text messages, with the date, time and the exact wording you agreed to.
- Basic technical details sent with the form: your IP address, browser type, the page that referred you and any campaign tags in the link you followed. We use these to prevent abuse and to record your consent.
How we use it
- To invite you to dinners, hold your seat and send the details, including the address.
- To plan menus around dietary needs you share with us on an invite.
- To send occasional updates about Seat Sixteen, by email, and by text if you agreed to texts.
- To keep the list free of spam and abuse.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the dinners, such as our email and text message providers, our payment processor, and the chef, who receives first names and dietary notes for the dinner you attend. They may use it only to provide that service to us.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties.

If you agree to texts, see our texting terms. Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving texts.
How long we keep it
We keep your details while you are on the list. If you ask us to remove you, we delete your details, except a record that you opted out, which we keep so we don’t contact you again.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or leave the list, at any time by emailing hello@seatsixteen.com.
Cookies
This site does not set tracking cookies. Fonts load from Google Fonts and one photo loads from Unsplash, which receive your IP address when your browser requests them.
